Our recent
acquisition of GPS equipment enables us to work in direct conjunction with
the NYSDOT survey control network, allowing for faster real time geodetic
solutions, and provide better service to our clients.
Boundary/ALTA
/ ACSM
Land Title Surveys
BME
has extensive experience in boundary law, case law, and ALTA standards
for rural and urban property
surveys; from undeveloped
parcels to fully developed residential, commercial and industrial sites.
Topographic Surveys
BME's
efficient use of technology in field data collection, interpretation and
mapping allows for a smoother transition from field to design
for undeveloped parcels to shopping centers and
malls with a significant amount of planimetric detail including plantings, utilities, and
parking.
Flood
Elevation Certificates
The Elevation Certification is an important
administrative tool of the National Flood Insurance Program. It is
used by government agencies and lending institutions to ensure compliance
with community floodplain management ordinances, to determine proper
insurance premium rates, and to support a request for a Letter of Map
Amendment (LOMA) or Revision (LOMR-F). If an Elevation Certificate
is required, BME has the experience and a reputation for accuracy,
consistency and longevity since the reliability of the certification will
not come into question until after the flood.
Construction Stakeout
BME has extensive experience in commercial and industrial site
development projects, from a small addition to an existing building, to providing
horizontal and vertical control for multistory structures.
BME provides stakeout for the initial clearing and earthwork phases of a
project through the utility and paving phases, to final stakeout of roadways, buildings,
and parking.
Aerial
Photography Overlay Mapping
At BME, we have invested in collecting aerial photography
that will enhance all your project displays; from initial planning through
site development.
Horizontal and Vertical Control
Surveys
to monitor structural walls, floors and
foundations for possible horizontal and vertical movement.
Photogrametric Mapping Control
Horizontal and vertical control networks to
provide aerial mapping consultants with coordinate and elevation data.
Mapping of Environmentally Regulated
Areas such as wetlands, woodlots, flood hazard areas,
and steep slopes as defined by federal, state, and local laws. These areas are then
surveyed and mapped to assist in identifying project opportunities, constraints, and
"permitting" requirements.
Volumetric Calculations
for spoil
piles, mining and excavation pits, earthwork, etc., and
related mapping.
Preparation
of legal descriptions, easement maps and conveyance maps, profiles and
cross-sections
for all your legal
and design needs.
