Construction Services

Every project requires experienced and proficient construction services for a successful completion. The complex environment of a construction project demands that an owner be represented throughout the duration of the contract. BME Associates’ construction services department utilizes years of experience on a wide range of development projects to facilitate timely and cost efficient completion.

  • CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION
BME Associates’ scope of contract administration services includes construction statement review, Letter of Credit administration, project Change Orders and Field Changes, and pre-construction coordination and progress management with government agencies and utility companies.
  • CONSTRUCTION OBSERVATION
Monitoring and reporting during the construction gives an owner a sense of progress and quality of work. BME Associates will routinely review drawings, keep daily logs, and work closely with contractors, owner’s reps, and governing agency staff to benefit job progress.
  • SWPPP MONITORING & REPORTING
In accordance with New York’s State Pollution Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) permit program, regular on-site inspections are a part of most construction projects to ensure Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) compliance. BME’s qualified SWPPP inspectors monitor construction sites, provide reporting, and manage required documentation and notifications.
  • RECORD MAPPING & CONTRACT COMPLETION
Our Construction Services team puts the finishing touches on a successful construction phase, clearly outlining items that may need attention prior to payment, certificates of occupancy, or for release of any retainages.
  • CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
Effective contract documents are the basis of a successful project, providing the owner with firmly established conditions and agreements. Contract documents and specifications are prepared jointly by the Construction Services Manager and Project Engineer.
  • OWNER / CONTRACTOR LIAISON
Design changes, abnormal site conditions, and other unexpected events are inherent to construction projects. By maintaining an atmosphere of involvement, cooperation and fairness, these occurrences can be handled without putting a project’s ultimate success at risk. Our prime objective is to ensure that the owner’s best interests are served.
