BME Associates’ principals and staff have a broad range of experience in residential, commercial, industrial, public works, institutional, and recreational projects. The involvement of personnel in industry-related associations and legislative affairs groups also provides BME with the background and resources to apply cutting edge technology to proven planning and engineering principles.
BME prides itself on its rapport with communities and on its ability to interface with the public during the course of project approvals. Their experience and sensitivity enables them to successfully balance the priorities of approving agencies, boards, neighbors, and special interests, and to integrate these factors with quality-oriented and cost effective project designs that their clientele can successfully implement.
BME was founded in 1988. BME is a firm based on their commitment
to provide technically sound and practical services that result in
projects that can be implemented, not just planned.
BME applies this experience to both municipal and private
development project design. Taking a practical, production related
approach to all planning and design, BME engineers a project
specifically to the site conditions and you. Using state-of-the-art
engineering, surveying and land planning services, BME researches
each project in-depth and designs it from a practical perspective.
Each site provides its own unique challenges involving stormwater
drainage, environmental restraints, sanitary sewer disposal, and
traffic patterns. At Cobblestone Creek, for example, BME faced the
challenge of designing a multipurpose water feature when a
significant portion of the drainage basin was contained in regulated
wetlands.
Through communication and coordination of all the parties, BME was
able to arrive at an innovative design that enhanced the wetlands,
provided a challenging golfing experience and added significantly to
the overall beauty of the project.
BME's creative approach of letting the site dictate the design
means...
BME's political sensitivities and their rapport with planning
boards, zoning boards and neighbors helps them guide projects
through the complex review and approval process.
